Should you prepay?
- Prepay once your show has run for 2–3 months and you're confident you'll continue. Most hosts offer a trial, so you can test before committing.
- Stay monthly if you're likely to change plans soon: some hosts apply downgrades only at the end of the billing cycle (Podbean states this).
- Captivate and Buzzsprout only displayed yearly-billed prices on the day we checked, so they are not in this table.
